This stunning Victorian bangle features a crescent moon and star to the centre with detailed wings to each side. Set with beautiful seed Pearls and detailed with engraving. The crescent moon was often used in Victorian jewellery to represent the Feminine Moon Goddess and the stars offer guidance for the spirit, whilst wings were often used to symbolise protection.
Made in 9ct Yellow Gold, not marked anywhere but tested as at least 9ct Gold. A Gold safety chain is also attached.
The bangle measures internally 5.7cm x 4.8cm. The inner circumference is 16.5cm (6 1/2 inches). The Pearl set wing and crescent moon section measures 4.3cm in length. The bangle closes with a push in clasp.
